Architetto, Fotografo e Dottore di Ricerca, esperto di problematiche ambientali ed energetiche, ecosostenibilità ed Architettura Bioclimatica, Interior Design e pittore Simone Cappellanti nasce a Roma nel 1972 e, dopo essersi diplomato presso il Liceo Artistico ed il Conservatorio di Musica, vince alla Biennale di Marsiglia per la pittura ad olio; successivamente si laurea in Architettura alla “Sapienza” Valle Giulia con una tesi in Scienza delle Costruzioni; nello stesso anno si iscrive all’Ordine degli Architetti di Roma e Provincia ed inizia l’attività di architetto direttamente in campo internazionale che lo vede impegnato per circa un anno e mezzo tra Manhattan (NYC), Tampa (FL) ed Amman (Jordan); al suo rientro in Italia vince, con borsa di studio, il concorso per il Dottorato di Ricerca in Fisica Tecnica che conclude con una tesi in Progettazione Bioclimatica. Ha collaborato nei corsi di Fisica Tecnica e Sistemi Solari ed insegna Progettazione Bioclimatica presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria di Roma “Sapienza”; collabora inoltre nei corsi di Disegno e Rilievo, Disegno dell’Architettura e Rilievo dell’Architettura presso la Facoltà di Architettura di Roma Valle Giulia. Membro della Commissione di Collaudo e Controllo del Policlinico Gemelli, Amministratore unico della società Ingegneria Italiana impegnata nel campo dell’energetica e socio del gruppo Restyling and Consulting nel quale è responsabile e coordinatore dell’area progettuale, risiede a Roma nel quartiere Monti dove vive con il suo dobermann Cesare.
Simone Cappellanti was born in Rome in 1972. He is an architect, a photographer and a Research Doctor(PhD) . He is expert on environmental and energetic problematiques, on eco-sustainability and Bioclimatic Architecture. He is also an Interior Designer and a painter. He graduates at the Art College and gets the diploma at the Academy of Music in Rome. After that, he wins at the Biennale of Marseilles for oil painting. He takes the degree in Architecture at the “Sapienza”, the first University in Rome, with a thesis in “Building Science”; during the same year he joins the Architects Register of Rome and Province, and starts is activity that involves him, for una year and a half, internationally, from Manhattan (NYC), to Tampa (FL) and Amman (Jordan). At his return, he wins, with a scholarship, the PhD competition in Technical Physics with a thesis in Bioclimatic Architecture. He collaborated at the university courses of Technical Physics and Solar Systems and now teaches Bioclimatic Design at the faculty of Engineering at the University of Rome “Sapienza”; he also collaborates at the courses of Drawing and Relief, Architecture’s Drawing and Architecture’s Relief at the faculty of Architecture in Rome “Valle Giulia”. He is member of the Committee of Inspection and Control at the Policlinico Gemelli. He is, also, the sole director of the company “Ingegneria Italiana” (Italian Engineering), that concerns the energetic field, and he is partner of the Restyling and Consulting Group, where he is the project manager and coordinator. He lives in Rome in the district called Monti, with his Dobermann Cesare.
